It's kind of weird. I didn't think I would be, but after you live in the same place for 15 years and you're not used to being gone from that place for long, it gets scarrier to think that you'll be away from that place for the next 4 years, or for the rest of your life.
Maybe I'll get used to it quickly. I hope so, I'm running out of time to do so.
Oh well as for current events, not much.
I did get to see the broadway musical Wicked a few weeks ago. It was AMAZING. Blew my mind, probably cause I love the book series though.
I adored the Time Dragon above the stage. I also bought a shirt, the cd, and the bottle of 'green elixer'.
Also earlier this year I read Ayn Rand's book The Fountainhead. I read it to do an essay for a scholarship for $10,000. I'm still not sure how I feel about the book though, kind of a love/hate relationship right now.
But the other day I got a package in the mail from the Ayn Rand institute. I about freaked out thinking I got $10k. I quickly opened the package to see that, no I had not won, but I did recieve a complimentary copy of Ayn Rand's other book, Atlas Shrugged.
They have an essay contest upcoming for this book too, in September. Same amount of money for the prize.
I'll probably read it and enter it too. I'm afraid I won't be able to make the September mark though, so I've got to tear through that book. It's huge O.o"
So, even though I didn't get $10k, I still got a book. Better than nothing right?
